About HireSpace
Prototype HireSpace is currently a prototype. Venue availability, enquiry delivery, listing requests and emails are simulated. No submitted information is stored or sent externally.
HireSpace is a prototype of an Australian platform for discovering and enquiring about local function spaces. The idea is simple: help people find the right space for whatever they're organising — a birthday, a meeting, a wedding, a class — and make enquiring quick and free.
Where we're starting
We're launching in Hawthorn, VIC and surrounding areas. The directory covers pubs and bars, restaurants, community halls, meeting rooms, photography studios, galleries, churches and outdoor spaces. The architecture is built to expand into more suburbs and cities over time.
What this prototype does
- Browse and search spaces by occasion, suburb, guest count and more.
- View individual venue and space pages with pricing, capacity and accessibility details.
- Send a simulated enquiry to one or several spaces.
- Ask us to (simulate) finding three suitable spaces for you.
What it doesn't do (yet)
This is a functional prototype, not a live marketplace. There's no real-time availability, no booking or payment, and no venue or customer accounts. Enquiries, listing requests, sign-ins and emails are all simulated — nothing is stored or sent externally. All listings are sample directory content for demonstration.
